Description
This artwork captures a solitary alpine ibex standing on a narrow rock pillar, high above a vast mountain landscape.
The composition is reduced to its essential elements: stone, sky, distance, and the quiet presence of the animal. The ibex becomes almost sculptural, positioned between earth and open air, while the surrounding peaks dissolve softly into light and atmosphere.
In black and white, the scene gains a calm, architectural strength. The large negative space above the mountains gives the artwork a sense of stillness and scale, making the animal’s presence feel both fragile and monumental.
