A Hahnemühle Fine Art Surface made from 100% cotton is applied to the rigid Alu-Dibond base, combining the stability of the aluminium panel with the natural, expressive texture of a Fine Art material.
The surface is deeply matte and creates a soft, diffuse reflection of light. This prevents harsh reflections, while blacks, fine details and tonal transitions appear deeper and richer.
The texture gives the work a tangible material quality and tactile character. Combined with the diffuse reflection of light, it creates a stronger sense of volume and spatial depth, as if individual elements of the image visually extend beyond the flat surface.

Description
An Alpine ibex moves across a near-vertical rock face, captured at the moment when strength, balance and instinct seem to challenge gravity itself. Dust and fragments of stone remain suspended around him, while the surrounding rock disappears into deep shadow.
The monochrome composition strips the scene back to its essential elements: the animal, the rock and the movement between them. Dramatic light and deep tonal contrasts give the work a raw yet refined character, transforming a fleeting Alpine moment into something almost sculptural and timeless.
